The DB collects and shows the most advanced research results, the new technologies, innovations and patents produced by the CNR in the area of Life Sciences. They are the outcome of a process of selection and validation developed by the CBM-Cluster in Biomedicine, main partner of the CNR, and executed by independent experts from academia and industry.
Validation of the DB contents is expressed through classification based on criteria under the TRL methodology, which allows to define the development stage and the degree of transferability and applicability of a research result or technology.
An ad hoc section of the DB contains the thematic, technological and infrastructural profiles of the CNR’s Common Laboratories. The Common Labs are infrastructures for industrial research open to the world of industry and to the research community which offer knowledge, technologies and top level equipment.
The DB is easily accessible by browser from smartphones, tablets and PCs and is provided with an intuitive viewing interface developed in HTML5, the most advanced reference standard in the age of WEB 2.0 applications.
